Brighton Pub Reviews

When I meet people attending events in Brighton they often ask where to eat or which are the best pubs. This week it’s Flash on the Beach so today I took walk around central Brighton snapped of some of my favour places. Hopefully it will be a useful starting point, but there are plenty of other great places drink and eat. I have also loaded all the pictures onto Flickr and geo coded them onto a map them.

The Victory

The Victory is a friendly welcoming pub. A place to meet friends and share a couple of pints. This is the after work drinking hole of Madgex

The Hop Poles

The Hop Poles is on Middle Street where a large number of Brighton’s new media companies have offices. It has a mixed crowd and is often used as a place to meet before going clubbing .

The Evening Star

The Evening Star is a true real ales pub. I would recommend trying any of the beers from the local Dark Star Brewery. It is a bit small.

Brown’s bar

Brown’s bar, this is a bit posh, some of the people in here wear watches that are worth more than my house. That said they do some great cocktails, always a good way to start a big night out.
